THE INCARNATION OF CHRIST IN YOU

GRACE IS THE ROAD TO FULNESS OF LIFE

GRIP33

The grace of Christ equips us when our knowledge is small and our gospel incomplete. Grace is the Door to more of Christ’s life. Never an excuse for a limited version of it. It’s possible to give words of knowledge and heal in Jesus’ Name – yet remain basically un-healed in our being. Why? Often because we live from an atonement, we think we must complete ourselves, or because we have adopted a legalised gospel or because we think we must ‘earn Christ before we can enjoy intimacy with Him. But Jesus loves you as you are – not as you should be. Live from the reality of your inclusion in God.

NEW CREATION BEGINS

The cross ended the age of wrong Adam, and the resurrection began the Age of our Rightness in Christ. Paul wrote, ‘And this is the plan: At the right time he will bring everything together under the authority of Christ—everything in heaven and on earth’ Eph 1.10 NIV. This occurred in time at the atonement wrought by the cross. It grows in our time as we live incarnated with Christ and comes to completion at the Second Coming. The oneness that is the trinity – unity in diversity – is the oneness into which we have been drawn in Jesus Christ. In Christ the split life and the dualistic metaverse is ended.

Don’t imagine that you are living in non-dualism because you can hold a bunch of philosophies in your mind at once. This could be confusion or just a skilled affinity with the knowledge of good and evil. In the post cross age Oneness of Being and communion with life is found in Christ. It’s the alpha and omega of the New Creation.

THINGS THAT ARE AND ARE NOT

Jeff Turner writes, ‘
A thing exists in Christ or it does not exist at all.’ When Paul wrote the words, ‘Christ our life’ Paul meant that all things are found in Him and were made for Him. Nothing is ever its real self, outside of Christ. The essence of reality, of wholeness and holiness is Christ our life. This means a preoccupation with the law is a red herring and a cunningly devised diversion.

ALL THINGS

Paul wrote in Colossians, ‘All things have been created through him and for him.  He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.  And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.  For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross’ Col 1.16-20.

ARE WE ALIVE?

The law, appearing as black and white dicta, has no substance compared to Christ. He is the personification of all that is alive and good and the living way to achieve goodness and transformation. In Him we have our being and in Him we discern wisdom and resist folly.

After asserting ‘the letter kills’ Paul refers to Jesus as the ‘law of the spirit of life.’ He is the logos, the purpose, the order of all things -the Spirit of Life that is the One Spirit. All things hold together in Christ – not in the law, not in moralism, not in Islam’s legalisms and not in a humanist program of reform. Either Christ is our life, or we are not alive.

THE REAL NEW AGE

The appearance of Moses and Elijah with Jesus on the Mount of Transfiguration was the Sign of the coming transition – from the law and Adam’s Knowledge of Good and Evil to the incarnation and God’s plan of Christ in us, more exactly expressed as Christ as us: the incarnation. This is life in the Spirit and the Kingdom of God realised. We need to realise the truth in order to live in the truth of the riches of the Kingdom Age – Christ our life. This is the Source of the healed self and the Real Self.

REALISED GLORY

‘To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory’ Col 1.27 NIV. The oneness that is the trinity is the oneness into which Christ has drawn humanity.

Moses and Jesus do not appear with Jesus because Jesus will be a clever way of maintaining and extending the law – because the law does not make people better and was about to end. And because THE PLAN that has been in place before the foundation of the world is about to establish The Christ as the new and living way that heaven manifests through you and I on earth.

REALIZE

‘Realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you’ John 14.20.

Jesus never came to establish the law because He did not come to extend the chaos and separation of Adam. Jesus came to be with us, teach us the Kingdom and become our life in the Age of Christ come in our flesh.

FULLNESS OF LIFE IN JESUS CHRIST

In his sermon on the Mount Jesus announced that he had come to fulfil the Law and the Prophets. What the Law and the Prophets had aimed for but had never fully attained, Jesus would accomplish. It is Jesus Christ, not Moses and Elijah, who fully inaugurates the kingdom of God. The Mount of Transfiguration is where Moses and Elijah find their successor and bear witness that it is the Christ who will complete what they had begun.” (1)

Are we in Christ or in what God has left behind when Jesus cried, ‘It is finished!’ We have the privilege of being the expression of the Christ in us and completing what He began. Or a shell and an ‘almost son.’
